I personally think Chapter 12 "how to find time to non-run" was very useful.

Not being a particularly speedy or even distance-ey runner, my identity is often torn between runner and non-runner. I agree with your commenters - napping fits nicely into both worlds.Downhillnuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07660518530132812232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15140645.post-64476066240072575332008-02-08T21:33:00.000-07:002008-02-08T21:33:00.000-07:00Burn that book, it must have been written by satin...Burn that book, it must have been written by satin himself!Journey to a Centumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06294889164059934956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15140645.post-64949709047722619572008-02-08T21:15:00.000-07:002008-02-08T21:15:00.000-07:00If I can't walk there slowly or take the car/bus/t...If I can't walk there slowly or take the car/bus/train/plane, it's not worth going there. A simple, yet crystal clear mantra to live life by. Absolutely never got the whole running thing (if you need to get there faster, start earlier...). Am proud to be a non-runner! But am kind of bummed somebody has already written a book about it.Basthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16250072362721106013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15140645.post-19406596758564686562008-02-08T19:27:00.000-07:002008-02-08T19:27:00.000-07:00Oh good, it is so heartwarming to know that you st...Oh good, it is so heartwarming to know that you still like me as a person (really!) even though I don't run. I'm always "on the run" though. Basically from about 6:30 am to 11 pm every day: eat-work-school-work-eat-work-go home-study-eat-study-study-study-sleep (and repeat ad infinitum). And I have to agree with Michelle, runners can nap with the best of them. I've even perfected the sitting up straight nap. :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10790953201589664954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15140645.post-34155937460329890542008-02-08T18:48:00.000-07:002008-02-08T18:48:00.000-07:00what a great book!!!!what a great book!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15140645.post-53582458055699407932008-02-08T16:53:00.000-07:002008-02-08T16:53:00.000-07:00This is hilarious and you are right, the perfect g...This is hilarious and you are right, the perfect gift. Keep that Karen -she's priceless!

I only had to disagree with one statement - that napping is for non-runners. I consider myself an expert and primo napper. I can nap for 5 minutes, I can nap for an hour. My best naps occur in those brief cases where the sun is shining in on the living room run - I'm right there, on the floor Backofpackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13779487553272296752noreply@blogger.com
