Last run of 2008

I went out for my last run of the year today. I did 5 miles (8 km) in crisp, but not cold air. It was only around -5 C, just below freezing. The sun was shining bright and I thought about the year to come.

So what did I do when I go home?

Registered for the marathon, of course!

Bring on 2009!!

Happy New Year, all.

What went right? Lots of things. What could go better? Lots of things. What could be worse? Lots of things.

Who knows, maybe I'll see you at the Calgary Marathon. I haven't decided which two marathon I can do this year.

I am very grateful for my life and friends. Have a great 2009, Sarah. Glad your run went OK today.

The cold is always easier to take when the sun joins in!

It's nice when the sun shines on our runs! Glad it did for you on your run!

You entered the marathon, now there will be lots of new great firsts as you build up mileage to new levels! How exciting! I must enter the race soon!

Best wishes for all that is great in the new year!
