20 seconds

Twenty seconds. That's all it took for me to realize, during my run the other day, that my water bottle belt was uncomfortably snug. I had to let ot out some.

Boooooo!

Too much holiday cheer I'm afraid. Well, that coupled with the stupidly freezing temperatures we had through the latter part of December, dipping down as low as -42 C (around -46 F) with wind chill on at least one occasion.

It's been better this week, though the above-freezing temperatures they promised for today seem to have been revised. It will be a little below zero today and then get colder again.

Oh joy.

As I sit inside working on my thesis draft corrections, I mentally scheme of ways to get my water bottle belt back to where it was... and wear it comfortably.

Ouch, 20 seconds eh.

I hauled on a pair of pants this morning and have yet to fasten the button. They don't fit like they did a few weeks ago.

I get it. I'm working on a 3 lb gain myself. I had to get serious about snacking again - meaning, back to fruits and veggies and doing away with cookies and chocolate. That makes me kinda...sad...

It's all a dream... a very intense dream.

All this winter running has frozen (contracted) not only the water in your bottle, but the belt which holds it to your waist.

Fear not, summer's comin'!

I think it's because you were wearing extra layers. :-)

The forecast sounds more user friendly for the next little while! So here's to taking off that fleece layer and having the belt fit better!

That's why I don't wear a bottle belt. Hand helds don't tell you that you gained some weight. I like that option. Now, if I could just get that scale out of my bathroom.

For your great attitude, and all that jazz, I nominated you tonight for the Lemonade Stand Award. :-)

Details on my blog...
