People change...

So, I'm chatting on the phone with A. tonight. We had a fantastic chat, got caught up on all our news, had several good belly laughs and at the end I said, "Well, it's getting late and I still have homework to do... Time to go snuggle up with my Stats book..."

She replied, "I can honestly say, I never dreamed that I'd ever hear you say the words, 'Time to go snuggle up with my Stats book'. Not in all the years I've known you would those have been words I would have expected to come out of your mouth. Wow..."

I had to admit... I could never have imagined myself saying those words either... Oy vey.

I know I should be enjoying the free time, but I am looking forward to starting classes again. We must be crazy Sarah.

I've never been a fan of sleeping alone. And now that I'm partnered, I find it practically impossible to sleep when he's not home (it's a vulnerable, mind game, seen-too-many-horror-movies issue). To put myself to sleep, I prop myself up beside my night stand and light and read my bilingual dictionary until the point of exhaustion. And one time, only once, did I wake up, *almost* spooning with Robert-Collins.

AP - I didn't say the book was my bed partner! Just that I was having a little snuggle session...

And yes... I can imagine you spooning with Robert-Collins... but only a French-English bilingual version, bien sur!

Awwww... does this mean you now love statistics? All that fear, and now true love?

You are funny Sarah! I can't imagine snuggling up with a stats book either. A good novel, yes.
